Nighttime Faith was taken in the Gila National Forest in June 2016.  I was on my first expedition in the Warriors to Summits series.  Our trail led us along the West Fork Gila River and this shot was taken at our first campsite.  As the darkness of the night fall over our camp, the twinkling stars came out in the millions, mesmerizing me as shooting stars flashed across the sky.  And as I watched the moon raise above the mountain, for the first time in years, I didn’t feel like I was in a dark room.  There was light in my life, even in the dark of night!  It reminded me of Psalm 139:12 "Even the darkness is not dark to you; the night is bright as the day, for darkness is as light with you."
